Bangladesh Hindu Parishad in the service of humanity

Sanatan Dharma is the scripture of the living entity. Which is not the basis of any tradition or any doctrine or any single belief that distinguishes between space, time and place. Rather, the combination of the basic elements of life and matter existing in nature, knowledge and eternal truth are the main basis of Sanatan Dharma. The path of Bangladesh Hindu Parishad is to protect the existence of the traditional community, the bearer and carrier of that eternal truth.

Above all, the main goal and purpose of Bangladesh Hindu Parishad is to continuously run in the service of humanity. This organization has been working completely apolitically and internationally since February 19, 2017 to protect human rights by enriching close relations between all religions, castes, classes, professions, and all communities in Bangladesh.

Which began at the feet of Shrimae in the Shri Durga Temple under the Dayaganj National Shri Shri Shiva Temple in Dhaka. With the presence of only 07 (seven) people, the auspicious establishment of Bangladesh Hindu Parishad with the aim of realizing the rights of the oppressed, oppressed, helpless, deprived of rights. A few devastated people without money, without people. Those who are suffering from injuries. Bangladesh Hindu Parishad was formed with them, led by Subir Saha (Chief Coordinator), Dipankar Sikder Dipu (President), Sajan Kumar Mishra (General Secretary), Suman Kumar Roy (Spokesperson) and Shyamal Majumdar (Treasurer) and the responsibility of the first constituent organization Bangladesh Hindu Youth Parishad was given to Debashis Saha (President, Youth Council), Sushant Vaidya (General Secretary, Youth Council).

Disappointment, fog all around, but still no one stopped. Every day, Bangladesh Hindu Parishad started growing with new innovative ideas, love and utmost compassion. Gradually, Dr. Priti Bhushan Bhattacharya, Shuvo Kumar Mohant (the first logo designer of Hindu Parishad), Suman Chandra Dey, Ashtam Roy, Sanjay Debnath Litu, Bipul Chandra Bar, Gopal Karmakar, Manish Bala, Manish Dasgupta, Harinath Namahbiswas, Biplob Sarkar, Mala Biswas, Amal Karmakar Bappi, Robin Lal, Sufal Roy, Bilash Biswas, Akash Ghosh, Shuvo Sarkar and hundreds of other dedicated servants started joining. The movement, struggle and protest rallies of Hindu Parishad are full of various programs.

Later, on May 12, 2017, Bangladesh Hindu Parishad made its auspicious debut through a press conference at the Reporter Unit in Dhaka. Since its inception, the Hindu Parishad has gradually grown in strength, and Babul Chandra Das, one of the guardians of the organization, joined as the executive president. Under his sincere love for the organization and skillful guidance, Bangladesh Hindu Parishad is today a national institution.

On February 19, 2017, Bangladesh Hindu Youth Council, on September 30, 2017, Bangladesh Hindu Chhatra Parishad, on August 4, 2017, Dhaka Metropolitan South Youth and Chhatra Parishad, on October 27, 2017, Bangladesh Hindu Mahila Parishad, on February 7, 2021, Bangladesh Probashi Hindu Parishad, on November 21, 2021, Bangladesh Probashi Hindu Jubo Parishad, and on April 6, 2022, the Hindu Parishad International Central Committee began its journey. In addition, at different times, committees at various levels including districts and upazilas were formed through the unity and solidarity of the brave Hindu soldiers. As a result, Bangladesh Hindu Parishad has expanded throughout the country and has now developed in the international arena.

One of the most remarkable programs of Bangladesh Hindu Parishad is the distribution of relief among the Rohingya refugees and sheltered camps from Myanmar, which created a huge stir through various social media platforms as it was a primary work at a non-governmental level at that time. One after another humanitarian program has given Hindu Parishad a reputation as an organization of unique status in the country -
Slogans are being raised everywhere, 'Hindu Parishad believes in deeds, not words'.

The brave soldiers of Hindu Parishad are at the forefront in protesting against all kinds of atrocities committed against Hindus, vandalism of idols of temples and monasteries, land grabbing, rape, and conversions. Human chain protest program against any injustice committed across the country by the Hindu Parishad, saving 30 families in Narail from converting to Christianity, program to surround the Pakistan Embassy in protest against the public demolition of temples in Pakistan, celebration of Sri Krishna's Janmashtami, initiation of Bhaiphonta celebration of any organization for the first time at the organizational level, Raksha Bandhan program, program related to the Liberation War on the 50th anniversary of independence, case for insulting Hindu religion, change of city election date on Saraswati Puja day, program to spread Sanskrit and Pali education, rescue of numerous girls from religious conversion, formation of corona funeral and nationwide funeral team, implementation of national and international mass literacy program for the formulation of minority protection law and lifting of protection law in various high-ranking circles of the government, implementation of tree plantation program in all districts under the direction of the Honorable Prime Minister, one of the founders of Bangladesh Hindu Parishad, Adv. The Hindu Parishad is playing an active role in protecting the rights of the Hindu community in the country by implementing numerous programs, including participating in the parliamentary elections of Suman Kumar Roy and the parliamentary by-elections of Sajan Kumar Mishri.

In addition, through the formation of Bangladesh Probashi Hindu Parishad, the organization's inner circle of people such as Sujit Mridha (Cyprus), and through the formation of Bangladesh Probashi Hindu Yuva Parishad, Deepak Mallick (Qatar), Sanjay Dev (America), Satyabrata Kar (America), Soumitra Bhattacharya (France), Haran Kanti Sen (America), Jagadbandhu Dhar (USA), Arup Kanti Shyam Chowdhury (USA), Malay Kanti Dev (Italy), Anamika Roy (USA) and others joined.

In protest against the various communal attacks in Bangladesh, the Hindu Parishad International Committee organized a human chain for the first time in front of the CNN building in America, in front of the Hemtramic Town Center in Michigan City, America, and in Paris, France, and other notable places, highlighting the activities of the Hindu Parishad in Western countries. The slogan 'Hindus want a Bangladesh free from oppression' was announced.

One after another, various countries including France, Italy, Michigan (USA), Georgia (USA), New York, Cyprus and other international organizations called for movement programs and at the same time, a 'mass signature program' was implemented among the Hindu community of various countries of the world including Bangladesh for the enactment of minority protection laws. In which the traditionalists of various countries expressed their determination to build a Bangladesh free from Hindu oppression through spontaneous participation.

In just 6 years of its establishment on October 18, 2022, along with expanding the organization in various countries at the national and international levels, the Hindu Parishad received recognition as an international human rights organization (Registration No. 22080667/USA) from the Human Rights-based registration organization of the United States. Through which, it has the unique status of uniting the Hindu community scattered all over the world under one flag, by increasing its activities and expanding its reach as a registered international human rights organization worldwide.
